John Daintree

Chief Executive Officer

John has over 25 years of global programme and project management across a number of industries within FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 organisations encompassing news and media, financial services, telecommunications, transport, travel, energy and fast moving consumer goods (alcohol and tobacco). He has extensive international experience of managing projects relating to security, infrastructure, outsourcing, capacity management, disaster recovery, management systems, standards development, audit, relocations, service delivery and training.

Stephen Kapp

Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer

With over 20 years of experience in all areas of Information Security, Stephen heads our technology and research and development operations.  Having worked as both consultant and an end user Stephen brings expertise from architecting and building secure technology solutions for various industry verticals including Financial Services, Aerospace and Entertainment using many different technologies including Enterprise Java, .NET, Ruby on Rails, Oracle and C/C++.  Along with extensive experience in the field of security assessment both performing and managing assessment programs.

William Gragido

Will Gragido is a seasoned security professional with over 20 years’ experience in networking and information security. Will’s extensive background is the result of his service as a United States Marine, a consultant with the world renowned International Network Services, Internet Security Systems (now IBM ISS), McAfee, Damballa, Cassandra Security, RSA Netwitness, Carbon Black, Digital Shadows and now Digital Guardian where he leads the organization’s Advanced Threat Protection Product Line as its Director. A veteran speaker, Will has spoken around the world at some of the industries most prestigious conferences.  Will has co-authored three books for Elsevier Syngress, has appeared on national television programs, and been a highly sought after source and interviewee for global media outlets covering cyber security.

Dave Lewis

Dave has over two decades of industry experience. He has extensive experience in IT operations and management. Currently, Dave is a Global Security Advocate for Akamai Technologies . He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest and co-host of the Liquidmatrix podcast. Dave writes a column for Forbes and Huffington Post.

Emil Tan

Emil Tan is experienced in many cybersecurity trades – from research and development, to cybersecurity governance, risk management, consultancy and operations. He currently works primarily on Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (CIIP) governance and regulations. Previously, he worked in the defence industry, researching on incident management and intrusion deception, as well as running cybersecurity operations.

Emil is a significant contributor to the cybersecurity community. He founded and leads Edgis, a cybersecurity community group guided by the mission of promoting a vibrant cybersecurity community and safer cyberspace in Singapore. Emil also leads The Honeynet Project, Singapore Chapter – an international non-profit cybersecurity research organisation. In recognition of his contributions to Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem, he was awarded the inaugural Cybersecurity Awards 2018 (Professional category) supported by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA).

Emil has a BSc Computer Science and MSc Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Thomas Fischer

Thomas has 30 years of experience in the IT industry ranging from software development to infrastructure & network operations and architecture to settle in information security. He has an extensive information security background covering roles from incident responder to security architect for fortune 500 companies, vendors and consulting organisations. He is currently a security advocate and threat researcher focused on advising companies on understanding their data protection activities against malicious parties not just for external threats but also compliance instigated.

Thomas is also an active participant in the information security community not only as a member but also as director of Security BSides London, ISSA UK chapter board member and speaker at events like SANS DFIR EMEA, DeepSec, Shmoocon, and various BSides events.
